Blessed Selves, welcome to today’s blog-a few words which I would like to share with you in honour of the love and strength I share with my fellow spiritual travellers, spiritual teachers and guides.

When I look over my life, there have been many times when I have felt lost, low, vulnerable, not sure where to turn or who to turn to.
As women, and mothers, we are taught to care for others, to turn the other cheek and make sure the i’s are dotted and t’s crossed, then if we have time or energy, we are “allowed” to do something for ourselves.
Over the years, my journey has led me to sit at the feet of many enlightened and enlightening beings. Souls, guides, teachers, mentors who through their example of liberty, truth and justice enable me to peel another layer from the many I wear as I journey on my path to wholeness, inner peace and spiritual fulfilment.
It is often during my low times, when another soul has reached out, given me a hand up off the ground, covered my back and held my space as I breathe through my pain and sorrow and in so doing, enable me be here, today, sitting in my living room, watching The Simpsons with my eldest daughter as I write this post.
Today’s poem is in honour of you, dear fellow Spiritual Travellers and to say a special Thank You to my many teachers, mentors and Spiritual Guide, Shola Arewa.

I invite you to take a few gentle deep breaths, smile and honour your Spiritual Teachers and Guides.
Strengthen
This chord cannot be broken.
It can be stretched t-a-u-t
But never broken.
For you see, it is written
“when the student is ready
The Master will appear”
When the student is ready to travel a spiritual path
The Teacher will appear.
Appear to show The Way
Appear to lend a hand.
For it is written
“when the student is ready
The Master will appear”
And so it is.
Side by side
Soul-to-Soul
Student and Teacher walk
Each one teaching one
Upon the mountain top.
In love, praise and honour of all spiritual travellers.
Thank you
Ntathu
