What do you think life would be like if we lived in a world of unstoppable calm?
It’s hard to imagine, and given the present state of the world, it seems an illogical quest.
However, as an author and seasoned meditation practitioner, I believe the more we imagine a calmer, peaceful world and hold that vision in our hearts as we work towards making that vision a reality — it will happen.
Here’s a yoga poem of the vision of a world of unstoppable calm that I hold…
Imagine a world of unstoppable calm
A world of unstoppable calm, serenity and bliss.
Imagine a world where Rest was the norm and the “hustle to rest” our code of life.
A world where “love thy neighbour” truly meant “love thy neighbour” –
unconditional and not “love thy neighbour if you look, act and think like me.”
Imagine a world of sustainable growth, nature and humans on the same page, one vision, one breath, one reality.
A world where the mountains stood firm in our hearts as the rivers of life streamed through our souls.
Imagine a world of unstoppable service, where “random acts of kindness” and “going the extra mile” were standard ways of living and being.
Imagine a world where circles of light, truth, justice and equanimity were the statues of physical law and honoured by those entrusted to uphold said laws.
Imagine a world of unstoppable smiles.
Smiles which stem from the womb of the Earth and cover our hearts as we go through our day.
Imagine this and more…
