Are you looking for meditation for beginners?
I learned to meditate by sitting on the end of my bed, crying my eyes out, aching for the tight pain in my chest and the empty feeling in the pit of my stomach to go away.
Some mornings I found a moment of relief and other days, I would sit there, vacant and wondering what was I doing with my life.

I had three young children to care for, a husband, a pressuring job, and lord knows what else!
I was too tired. Too exhausted and had. no. time. to sit and meditate!
But now, twenty years later, I am better.
Most mornings and even some nights when I am organised, when I meditate my mind is still.
I journal, I breathe, I create words of hope and inspiration as I transcend time and space and am at peace.
And now, I hope to share the joys and challenges of meditation for beginners with you so you too can find relief from the pain and anxiety you are going through.
But what if you don’t have the time to sit and read a meditation for beginner’s book?
And going to an ashram or sitting in a cave isn’t your thing?
And you prefer a more hands-on approach and a chance to explore different meditation for beginners techniques in the comfort of your home?
Introducing Breathe Calm – Meditation for Beginners Journey
Over the next 100 days, I will teach you meditation.
Not in the traditional way of a traditional Meditation for Beginners Course, but more of a diving straight in and practicing different meditation techniques as part of my free 100 Days Meditation Journey for Inner Peace During Tough Times.
Eventually, I will create a more in-depth meditation for beginners’ course to accompany my home-study Calm Your Mind – Meditation Self-Care Kit
But for now, I will publish a short guided meditation for beginners technique for you to practice on my YouTube Channel for the next 100 days (from Monday 20th April 2020 to Wednesday 29th July 2020).
Here’s the first video, which is a welcome video for the course.
Make sure you watch it as I share the outline for our next 100 days together of exploring a variety of guided yoga breathing exercises and meditation techniques to support you – and myself, navigate the demands and pressure we face because of the global Co-vid 19 pandemic.
At the time of writing this post, I am up to Day 16 – which is a Body Love Meditation!
And it has been a vast learning curve for me as I try to implement the different video techniques – thumbnails, SEO, posting schedules, editing, what gear to use (at present my mobile phone and natural daylight!) looking at stats;
it’s like a whole unknown world learning how to set up my YouTube Channel.
Some days it all feels sooo technical and hard I felt like giving up.
But the minute I find my breath, press play, I think of you, smile and feel encouraged and carry on.
How Can I Join In Breathe Calm?
There’s no “homework” but if you want to join in as I share the different meditation techniques and leave a comment about how you got on, that would be great. And any challenges and suggestions for other meditation techniques or suggestions to improve the content to help you get through, I would also appreciate that!
Learning to breath properly has help me a lot in my life. I try to teach others how much one can get out of it. Thank you Ntathu
