One of the best ways to have an awesome day is to wake up in a happy mood.
As you well know, waking up in a happy mood, sets the tone for the rest of your day.
I’m sure like most busy women, you have so much to do, waking up in a good positive mood helps you get more done during your day.

However, I’m certain you have had days when you woke up feeling tired, low on energy and struggle to get out of bed and out the house on time.
I know I have!
When you have a “bad start” to your day, have you noticed that everything you do seems to take longer and requires more energy? It’s like you are holding a string and it drags you through the day and you struggle to get back on your feet.
Would you agree the more you can do to help yourself stay in good mood, life looks easier and you have more energy to get things done?
Waking up and starting your day in a positive frame of mind helps you to plan and prepare what you have to do in a calm and focused way
So, following along with our theme to help you have a peaceful and positive start to your day, I’d like to share with you, Ten Positive Affirmations you can say to yourself when you wake up.
They are quick and easy to say, and over time, help develop a sense of inner peace and calm as you start your day.
These Ten Positive Affirmations are ones I wrote and regularly use as part of my Early Morning Spiritual Practice to keep me balanced and focused and have a harmonious start to my day.

Here Are Your Ten Positive Affirmations To Help You Have An Awesome Day
1. My life is filled with the rich abundance of the universe
2. My life flourishes with grace, light and beauty
3. Every day as I rise, I breathe and give thanks for the good in all
4. I am healthy. My life flows with grace and ease
5. Good things come easily to me and I appreciate it all
6. I surround myself with friends who care, support and encourage each other
7. Every day at work, I allow myself time, energy and space to breathe
8. Every sip of water I drink nourishes my brain
9. My life overflows with vitality, life and love
10. I love, care, and deeply nourish my mind, body and spirit
Where Is The Best Place To Say Your Ten Positive Affirmations
It’s a personal choice.
This is what I do.
I love to spend the first few moments of my waking day in prayer and gratitude.
I’ll lie in my bed, smile to myself, and give thanks for the blessing of waking up to a new day. I’ll either sit up and read affirmations from my journal or stay lying in bed quietly whispering prayers of gratitude, grace and affirmations which flow through my heart.
Maybe you have a personal Morning Prayer routine and can add these Affirmations to your daily routine.
Or, you may prefer to wake up 5 minutes earlier than usual, make a cup of tea, sit on your settee and read the Affirmations quietly to yourself. Sometimes, I look at myself in the mirror when I say my Affirmations as it helps to “anchor” my thoughts and set my intentions for the day.
If time-pressed, you might prefer to say the Affirmations once you’ve grabbed your seat on the bus or train on the way to work or at your desk before you switch on your PC.
Play around with the practice and see what works best for you. The main thing is to find a pocket of time, ideally in the morning, to say the Ten Positive Affirmations.
How To Say The Ten Positive Affirmations

Before you read the Ten Positive Affirmations, take a moment to refocus your mind.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and slowly breathe out. Repeat this 3-5 times.
Gently, open your mouth wide and make the sounds “ahhhhhhhhhh” “ooooooooo” three times. This helps to waken up and energise your vocal chords. Make sure you feel comfortable and warm and quietly whisper to yourself, or say aloud
Closing Thoughts – Be Gentle With Yourself

The purpose of the Ten Positive Affirmations is to give yourself space in the morning to pause, to breathe and create a positive mind-set to help you have an awesome day!
You can write them out in your journal, or copy out on index cards and carry them around in your purse. You could even audio record yourself on your phone, saying the Affirmations, and listen to your recording on the way to work.
