Blessed Angels, how are you? This has been a bit of a packed week for me and I’m about to rush out to teach my weekly Friday Yoga Class. I’m mindful I have not been able to write you our weekly blogs…so, today’s blog is a mega short and uplifting video featuring Swami Sivananda Chanting Great Mantras. Have a listen and let me know your thoughts.

Chanting mantras is a wonderful spiritual practice and next week, I’ll be more organised (famous last words!) and will explain more about the philosophy and practice of mantra meditation.
Till then, have a blessed weekend. Keep shining, breathing and loving.
Thank you.
One Love

PPS…I’m sorry if link isnt working…It was earlier:)!
I admit Ntathu not understanding the reason for the mantras and chanting especially when I don't understand what they are saying or their meanings. Forgive my ignorance on this topic. Hopefully in your next post you can shine some light for me.
Hope you enjoyed your class. I bet they all love you!

Thank you my dear, Adrienne your comment reminded me of the first time I heard the words mantras, meditation and attended my first satsang at my lcoal Sivananda Yoga Centre. I thought "what is going on..what have I let myself into!?"…yet I staid as I was drawn to the energy and vibration of the sounds and music they were playing, plus everyone looked so contented and calm I thought "I want that". Thank you for reminding me of my journey, what I have gone through and where I am today.
Over the next few posts I will be focusing on and sharing my understanding and experience of meditation, chanting and mantras. Yoga is vast and chanting (commonly known as Bhakti Yoga-devotional songs and worship) is my favourite strand of yoga…it brings me the most bliss.
I am glad you are in my life. Thank you and take care.
