Imagine that!
There was a time, and not that long ago, when I would still feel guilty and not put myself first; guilty for taking a morning walk, guilty for lying in bed reading, and even guilty for going to a yoga class!
I could think of 102 reasons for not taking care of myself and put my needs last… you know, I am a mother, a wife, got a business to run, clients to see, housework to do, friends to catch up with… the list went on and on and on.
Not realising how insignificant that made me feel, and how that lack of energy stopped me feeling and being my best.
Whereas now, instead of feeling guilty for looking after myself
…I am Grateful.
Yes, that’s right.
Through healing and understanding my negative thought patterns, I have transformed feeling guilty into feeling grateful!!
And what a difference that makes.
Now, I am grateful.

When we feel guilty, it blocks the flow of energy.
Stops us shining, giving and being our best.
So, just for today, dear gentle hearts, if you feel “guilty” for putting yourself first and honouring your sacred soul;
Please take a moment.
Pause.
Exhale.
Notice where you feel the “guilty feelings” in your body.
Acknowledge your feelings.
And when you are ready, see if you can release that feeling on your next exhale.
As you exhale, quietly whisper…
“I am grateful for ———-“
And then I invite you to watch this short video to support you feeling grateful for being you.
===
Sometimes, though, it is hard to feel grateful.
The pain is too much.
Runs too deep.
And you can’t think of or feel anything to be grateful for.
That’s OK.
Acknowledge where you are.
Don’t beat yourself up.
Put your body’s need for self-care, rest and recovery on the table
and keep your attention focused on your breath, inhale and gently exhale and know with the fullness of time, you will flourish.
You will release.
You will expand.
As you embrace yourself with love.
Take care, dear gentle souls.
We believe in you, and know in the fullness of time, you’ll get through.
