Slightly different style of a blog post today, where I share my journey of creating my new course the Rise & Shine Meditation Programme (cue happy dance tune!)
I have some fun news to share but first here is another poem I wrote last week, and thought you would enjoy it.
It’s called Rise & Shine.
Have a read and then find out what’s making me extra happy!

Rise & Shine
It is your time to rise and shine to throw away the cobwebs and greet the new day.
It is your time to breathe, reclaim your faith and be confident, strong and proud.
To show up, smile with the wind and listen to the birds.
Your time to be a witness, a silent observer and guardian of the truth, to share the spark that only you can.
It is your time to breathe, to relax, release, open and let go;
to find a way to surrender and reconnect with your inner heart song;
to be the light in your home and shower your family with the light from your soul.
It is your time to Rise and Shine and claim your crown in the great circle of life that covers us all.
It is your time to Rise & Shine.

I got goosebumps when I meditated and then wrote those words.
When you hear about the backstory to this prose, you’ll know why!
Quick Back Story to Rise & Shine
As you know, the last couple of months my blog theme is “Get More Energy” and looking atthe reasons why you feel so tired all the time.”
I wrote and published 5 blogs around this theme, including an epic Round-up post where my fav blogger friends shared their #1 to boost your energy.
You can read the Round-up post -17 Hapy Bloggers Share Their Best Tips To Boost Your Energy here.
Next, I wanted to find a way to draw all this information together to find an easier way to help you digest this content so that you can use the information to help you feel less tired and boost your energy.
I was stuck on how to move forward. I knew getting more energy and to look for ways to relax, make the most of your life and be less tired is important to you, yet I was not sure how to translate what I teach my private students and community classes into an online format that you could easily access.
Publishing my book, Meditation for Beginners: How to Meditate for People Who Hate to Sit Still, helped, because I know you enjoy reading about meditation.
Reading the book is great, but if you are new to meditation, it’s nice to physically share your experience and get guidance and support as you go.
So, I started doing Facebook Live videos sharing my morning walk and recording a few meditations.
The feedback I got from my regular Facebook Live guided meditations took me by surprise.
People enjoyed them!
So I thought yeah, let me do more!
Which is great, yet a lot of people don’t like Facebook and weren’t able to watch the videos and meditate with me.
So, it was back to the drawing board.
As usual, whenever I feel stuck and need inspiration, I silence my mind, tune in and meditate – “How can I make what I know, accessible to more people, who don’t live in London and are not fans of Facebook!”
The answer came.
Create a 21-day programme and share the easy meditation techniques and breathing exercises.
That felt good.
I checked with my business mentor and business buddies who helped to chip away the rough edges and refine my ideas.
Whenever I spoke with students and readers, people said they would like to learn how to meditate but find it too difficult to do by themselves, or they were too busy to make it a daily habit.
So, the idea of making a short, easy to do meditation programme, based on morning meditations to help you get a better start to your day was born!
I was still stuck what to call this idea, this course.
And last week, as I sat in meditation I asked for a name for this programme.
As I sat, the words for the poem you just read, Rise & Shine came to mind and viola, long story short, I got the clarity I was looking for and the latest version of my dream was born:
The 21-Day Rise & Shine Meditation Programme to gently give you support and encouragement to help you feel more energised and less exhausted, worried and overwhelmed when you wake up.
What a relief.
Isn’t that wonderful!
I love it when I step aside, ask for support and spirit guides.
My webmaster has been brilliant and helping me get the back-office stuff sorted out. I am so not technical!
Now, I need to set up a Facebook community support group, make sure I know what I’m doing backend and put the finishing touches to the course outline and get it all ready!
But that’s OK.
Apart from the technical and design side, the hardest part – getting clarity and having the confidence to share my ideas to create the course- is done, so I feel better and clearer re the next steps.
Sooo, fingers crossed, all that technical stuff will be completed by midweek and I will be able to finally share the programme with you. I can’t wait.
Thank you soooo much for sharing this journey with me!
Quick heads up, in case you are wondering, the programme will start Monday 27th August and offered at the Holiday Special Price- $47.
I initially thought $97 but know what it is like to want to do something for yourself, to juggle the pennies and family commitments, plus, as it is brand new course, you are getting the Special Founders Rate!
I hope that’s ok with you and you’ll be able to join us as we work together through this programme.
Am setting the intention to have all the technical and backend stuff sorted and content written so that I can let you know more about what’s included in the 21-Day Rise & Shine Meditation Programme by Thursday.
Wish me luck.
Closing Words
I can’t wait for us to get started.
OK, that’s my happy making start to the week.
How are you and how’s your day going so far?
Let me know in the comments what you think of my latest adventure!
Please take care of yourself.
Massive hugs.
