Hugs, blessings and thanks for visiting. I am glad you are here and wish you boldness, love and light as you step forth into a brand new moment.
This week’s Poem of the Week, is a little gem I found whilst doing a spot of de-cluttering. For those of you who know me; know yoga is one of the things which keeps me sparkling and alive. I’m glad I rescued this poem as it sums up perfectly the joys of practicing yoga.
It’s Got To Be Yoga
There’s nothing else quite like it on the planet.
Dr. Who’s tardis doesn’t fly as high as Surya Namaskar and the wonders of the planets squaring on the midnight sky, certainly don’t eclipse 3 rounds of pranayama.
The stars, the moon, heavens and earth collide and harmonise as you sit and count your breath ~ Inhale 1 ~ Exhale 1 ~ Inhale 2 ~ Exhale 2…
Downward Dog aint no rap star
And pranayama don’t cause no drama and fight on the streets and as for cobra flowing into bow…it aint no fancy X-Factor Show.
So, just stop wherever you are, sit up straight, relax your jaw and get ready to explore -get ready to explore the inner workings of your mind, the outer extremities of your soul and leave with more, more love, more hope and best of all, more room to stretch and grow.
Peace out
