Bless you and greetings gentle friends and a heartfelt welcome to new friends. Today’s post, is a poem, Love in Abundance, to get more Me-Time, I’d like to share with you to gently remind you to keep your needs for self-care and self-love on your agenda. First of all, thanks to all of you who took advantage of my recent Special Offer and purchased your copy of my eBook A Woman’s Book of Yoga, A Guide to Relax and Nourish Your Body and Soul. YAY!! I’d love to hear your feedback! And if you didn’t get a chance to buy you can instantly buy here.
I wrote “Love in Abundance” during my recent 3 weeks rest from work and it sums up the whole ethos of Surrender to Love and how I wish to live now.

Who Else Wants More Me-Time?
Like most super busy women, I have a deep desire for more Me-Time, time to ourselves just to relax, enjoy your own company and not think about other people’s needs – just for a while.
Trying to sustain your intention for more Me-Time can seem an insurmountable task, like sweeping up leaves from your lawn on a gusty Autumnal day! For example, I’m two days back into “full time work mode” and instead of eating my lunch in a state of mindful appreciation, I found myself today mindlessly gulping my food whilst watching a replay webinar, which is one of my old habits I wish to let go off. (Positive spin: At least I made time to eat lunch!)
Being mindful, present and connected to your breath forms the core of your yoga practice
Sustaining a calm, mindful approach is simple when you are practicing yoga, yet once off the mat and as you go through your day it becomes challenging, especially with hectic work schedules and family commitments it’s easy to end up feeling stressed-out, overwhelmed and anxious.
That’s why I’m highlighting the theme, Surrender to Love, and like to write these blogs to remind you, and myself, of the importance of self-care and self love and to find ways to schedule simple mindful techniques, Me-Time activities and yogic principles- Breathing Exercises, Rest and Relaxation Techniques, Exercise (yoga!), Alkalising, Time-Out, Healthier Habits, Embrace Life; into your day to boost your energy at home and keep you peaceful, positive and productive at work.
Poem, Love in Abundance, to get more Me-Time
As you read “Love in Abundance”, may your soul be nurtured as you take 5 minutes to breathe, refresh and renew your energy.
L-o-v-e, Love in abundance
Love yourself first
Put your needs for rest and love to the test
Do what fills your soul
What makes your heart sing
And blood cells zing
Put yourself first; fill your soul’s desire for truth in the fast lane
Forget about fast foods, just fast
Learn to appreciate the greatest love of all, yearn to listen to the calling of your soul, learn to B.R.E.A.T.H.E and be the best you came to be.
Learn to put your needs on the table, serve yourself the finest foods, rich delectable fruits which nourish, sustain and build you up from the inside out- whole grain foods, fresh fruits, seeds and nuts to strengthen you as you prepare to go to war to turn away from the physical to the spiritual.
No imitation and half baked theories that self-love is selfish and you should be out doing more…
No…Self-love is where it’s at and self-love is where we’re all goin’
Livin’ lovin’ life in perfect harmony, with you – me, myself and I
L-o-v-e, Love in abundance
is what makes your heart sing
And blood cells zing
