As usual it’s always a treat to sit down and write to you. I trust you enjoy the healthy mixture of yoga news and views on offer.
Today’s post is short and sweet. I originally planned to write a follow-up to the blog I wrote about Mantra Meditation-Introduction To Shri Lakshmi however, I woke this morning and it was pelting down. It felt as if the heavens had literally opened and downloaded the monsoon rains into our part of the universe.
I was thankful I didn’t have to get up and go out; so I lay in bed thinking shall I get up, meditate and practice yoga or stay snug and warm in bed?
I chose to stay in bed!
My phone was nearby so I flipped over to YouTube and for some random reason I flicked on Singing in the Rain and spent a joyous twenty minutes or so laying in bed, singing along to a joyful selection of Gene Kelly songs!!
First of all I strummed my fingers to Good Morning
and then got all excited and bubbly chirping along to another old time classic Singing In The Rain
After listening to these tunes I felt inspired and ready to get up and greet the rest of my day in prayer.
What a wonderful way to start my day!
