Hugs, blessings and welcome to today’s post. Thanks for visiting and I wish you a magical day.

Today’s post is inspired by a blog I read this morning written by a dear friend, Harleena Singh.
As I read Harleena’s post “How To Nurture The Perfect Woman Within!” I marvelled at the strength of women and was moved to pick up my pen and write a few words in response. Thanks Harleena.
What Is A Yoga Woman?
A Yoga Woman is a woman of peace
A woman who stands at the helm of her family and, gives herself the best.
A Yoga Woman is a woman of charm, grace and intrigue, a Mona Lisa in disguise as she mops the kitchen floor and closes the deal.
A Yoga Woman knows all things flow from the source, gives freely and knows without even knowing the rewards will grow.
A Yoga Woman is a woman of substance. Strong in faith, firm in her belief that good always follows bad. A woman of strength, courage and conviction.
A woman who will stand alone and fight the dragon in order to bring home the bacon.
A woman who will sell her body but not her soul to put food on the table and do right for the offspring of her loins.
A Yoga Woman is a superwoman. A woman who knows that true grace and beauty flows from within and through the power of the sword will inspire you, to teach and grow.
A Yoga Woman is a woman. Just like you – and just like me.

International Women’s Day is fast approaching and to celebrate I would like to continue with the theme of Celebrating Women. Over the next few days I will post a daily poem or blog about the joy and blessing of womanhood. If you use Twitter, Harleena and I look forward to joining you and sharing your post Celebrating Women. Join in the Celebrations using #WomansDay
Thank You and remember how Marvellous You are.
In peace

Dang if I'm not loving the blog world. The amazing people, and insightful writings, I discover leave me in awe. Found this via Harleena's profound post, and it is a wonderful extension to her words. Although I struggle with the concept of being a "perfect Woman" I can easily embrace the work of being a better woman, and as you so eloquently put "a woman of substance…strength…courage…conviction." I like that.
Bless you Cris and thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts. Yes, the blog world is an amazing place. Part of my journey is learning to live with my perfect imperfections:) and as you say, aspire to become a "better woman" In fact your comments inspired me to pen today's poem -in celebration of womanhood-"How to be a Marvellous Woman" which I am just about to write up neatly and post!
Glad you were inspired to put up such an inspirational post Ntathu!
Yes indeed, a yoga woman or a woman who does yoga or even a simple woman is a woman of substance and her strength is something no one can match. Loved the lines you wrote so well!
Looking forward to reading your poems now.- thanks for sharing 🙂
Hugs and thanks for showing me the way…stay blessed
