Blessings, hello and welcome to my blog. Thanks for visiting and on this day, International Women’s Day, I wish you (and the gentle-men in your life) a warm, blessed and prosperous day. Be Happy Be Glad Be Peace.

Continuing in my theme of celebrating women, as part of International Women’s Day, I would like to share with you a poem I wrote a while back when I started to recognise, accept and embrace my beauty as a woman. Before that, I ran away from my femininity and gentle nature, seeing it as a weakness.
Nowadays, I am glad I can be gentle, strong and powerful…all in the same breath.
As a woman, what are you grateful for?
As you ponder that thought, take a moment to sit back, relax and enjoy today’s offering.
I Am a Sacred Woman
I AM a Sacred Woman
A woman blessed with the Divine
The rivers of time flowing
Through my vein
I AM a Sacred Woman
A woman re-stored, re-aligned, re-united
With herself, her family, her community
I AM a Sacred Woman
Pure. Clean. Wholesome life I lead
A life ordained by Heaven Above
Manifested out on the plains,
Etched in time ~ immortal
I AM a Sacred Woman
Travelling the lands, gracefully balancing the energies
The burdens of the world upon
The spirit of the winds
A Woman embracing humanity
Eliminating poverty,
Offering a sanctuary for the wings of a dove
I AM a Sacred Woman
Spiritually evolved living harmoniously
With our Mother the Earth
Expounding doubt, knowing,
Without even knowing,
That All is Well
A woman
Claiming Truth, Justice, Unity and liberty for ALL.
