Bless you and welcome Dear Reader to another post in Celebration of International Woman’s Day. Thanks for visiting and sharing the magic and light you bring to my life.

Isn’t life wonderful? Yesterday’s post, What Is A Yoga Woman? was inspired by a tribute to women by my friend Harleena who wrote the post How To Nurture The Perfect Woman Within?
One of the reader’s to my poem, What Is A Yoga Woman?, Cris, left a comment which left me pondering what it means to be a “better, or more marvellous woman” and in line with this week’s theme of Celebrating Women, I penned today’s post – How To Be A Better, More Marvellous Woman. So thanks Cris for your inspiration!
How To Be A Better, More Marvellous Woman!
…you gotta love yourself
You got to be yourself and enjoy being with yourself-
Maybe, go away and “find yourself”.
You got to stand up for what you believe
Give and give some more-maybe take something back you have given away-just so you can be more of you.
You have to stay steady in the eye of the storm, smile, embrace the change and say-
“Come on, bring it on…I’m a woman, a marvellous woman, a woman in charge…give it to me. I can take it all.”

Sometimes in life, to become more of who you are you have to take a step back, review where you are at, ask for support and guidance to move through and forward.
My heartfelt wish is that the poems and posts shared during International Women’s Week will serve as a timely reminder to inspire you to remember how perfectly perfect you already are. Feel free to follow the conversations over at Twitter using the #WomansDay.
I’d love to hear your views about How To Be A Better, More Marvellous Woman. Do you think it is possible to become better than you are or is that all part of the materialistic searching for something outside of yourself so inherent in today’s society? Share your views in the comment box below and remember to forward the post to your friends and loved ones.
And if you wish to receive further postings, feel free to subscribe to my email list.
Stay Blessed and keep being the beautiful butterfly you are…or as my daughter JJ says “Don’t be a butterfly, be a bee and be like…”
One Love
