Meditation is the perfect way to reduce stress and help you take time to care for yourself -especially on those days when your spirit is low and you feel lost and alone.
So, I invite you to sit in a comfortable position, where your body feels supported.
Gently close your eyes and take your time to settle your body and find your breath.
In that dark space behind your eyes, imagine a candle glowing brightly.
Hold this image and feel the warmth of the candle flow through your body and nestle deep inside your soul.
Imagine the glow from the candle shining calmly in your heart, filling you up and keeping you safe and warm inside.
Remain focused on the warm glow of the candle for as long as you comfortably can.
Noticing the breath and bring wandering thoughts back to your breath and the softness of the candle in your heart.
And when you are ready, flick open your eyes, keep a soft gaze, and notice any thoughts, feelings, or emotions present.
And when you are ready, gently re-engage with the rest of your day.

As you go through your day, now and then, take three minutes to press pause, sit still and reconnect with the candle in your heart.
It will help to bring you back to that place of calm and stillness inside so you can rise and be your best.
